Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, log, and track incoming and outgoing inventory using WMS systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move heavy loads.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to 5S standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process orders, prepare shipping labels, and verify shipment contents against purchase orders.
- Packaging: Ensure products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse terrains.
- Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations and inventory management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
