Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Organize stock in the warehouse to ensure optimal space utilization and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety regulations.
- Package and prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
