Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Verify incoming stock against packing slips, count items, and ensure accuracy.
- Organization: Maintain organized warehouse aisles, shelves, and storage areas to maximize efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Quality Checks: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Documentation: Perform accurate data entry and scanning of inventory using RF scanners.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not strictly required for the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
