Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials, products, and merchandise within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Package and prepare items for shipment, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and report discrepancies immediately.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe by following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in general warehouse maintenance and equipment care as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License (not always required but preferred).
