Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, accurately count stock, and update inventory records in the WMS.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, including labeling and shelving.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and navigate a busy warehouse environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- License: Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
