Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workstations
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Operate warehouse management systems for real-time inventory tracking
- Participate in cycle counts and quarterly physical inventories
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with experience in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
