Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, locate, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and properly labeled to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Training: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
