The Role:
As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring our inventory flows smoothly from receiving to shipping. You will utilize various material handling equipment to manage stock and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to optimize efficiency.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we offer on-the-job training.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification upon hire.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
