Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Manage, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure stock availability and reduce waste.
- Optimize workflow processes and implement best practices to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports, including inventory counts and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
