Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, in compliance with safety regulations.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills for data entry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
