Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and organize stock to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize shrinkage.
- Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment and report issues immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips, shipping logs, and quality control reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (if applicable to role).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime during peak seasons.
