Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate cycle counts, stock checks, and maintain precise inventory records using WMS software.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping with a focus on speed and accuracy to meet customer deadlines.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trucks, ensuring proper documentation and secure transport.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, perform daily equipment inspections, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Documentation: Verify shipment contents against packing slips and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and processing orders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
