Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring all workflows are efficient, timely, and compliant with company policies.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to create a secure environment for all employees and visitors.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current procedures and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Team Coordination: Schedule shifts, conduct training sessions, and provide mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings as needed.
