Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (equipment provided).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock, tag items, and maintain accurate inventory logs using warehouse management software.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package and label products for shipment to ensure safe delivery to customers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on provided equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Equipment: Ability to operate forklifts and heavy machinery. (On-the-job training provided for qualified candidates).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
