Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment using appropriate materials and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and updating stock records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock within the facility.
- Shipping and Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify against packing slips.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not mandatory (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Safety Training: Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
