Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products by hand or using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and documentation.
- Sort, organize, and store materials in designated areas to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse layout.
- Inspect damaged or defective items and report them to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including labeling and packaging.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and safety goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners (RF guns) is a plus.
- Valid Forklift Certification (CDLA) is highly preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
