Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load and unload shipments in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper packaging standards are met.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations to prevent accidents.
- Shipping and Receiving: Prepare shipping documents and process returns efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a commitment to safety.
