As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products are delivered accurately and on time. We offer training for certified operators, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start or advance their career in warehousing.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipping according to shipping labels.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting processes.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
