Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and railcars using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and identify any damages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and adheres to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate power equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and reach trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
