Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Shipping & Receiving: Accurately receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damage.
- Picking & Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment with precision.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class C) required.
- Equipment: Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
- Reliability: Punctual, consistent attendance, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
