Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and adheres to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and efficiency targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required or obtained upon hiring).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanning devices.
