Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials manually or using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
- Identify and sort materials according to destination or type.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular inventory counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
