Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Shipment Processing: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition, completing necessary documentation.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software or RF scanners.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
