Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Operate handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to update inventory levels in real-time.
- Organize stockpiles, pallets, and racks to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits as scheduled by management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve logistical issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
