Responsibilities
- Efficiently move materials and products within warehouse facilities using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain precise inventory records through WMS systems and cycle counts
- Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain proper certifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload trucks and containers with proper securing techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
