Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move stock.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of orders using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse layout to ensure optimal workflow and accessibility.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including packing slips and logs, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
