Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, or shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Process and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Perform regular inventory counts and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
