Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Package, label, and prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, order pickers, and conveyors safely.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and ensuring proper storage of goods to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not required for all entry-level roles.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software or handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
