Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Accurately scan and track inventory in WMS systems to maintain real-time stock visibility
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments to prevent discrepancies
- Maintain organized storage areas and optimize space utilization in 50,000 sq ft facility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support shipping/receiving deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Participate in cycle counts and monthly inventory audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/material handling role
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Louisiana driver's license preferred
