Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage inventory movements using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain OSHA-comprehensive equipment pre/post-shift inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading of 53' trailers
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory protocols for perishable goods
- Document daily production metrics via digital reporting tools
- Participate in continuous improvement kaizen events
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (valid FL certification required)
- Minimum 2 years experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Proficient with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail with inventory accuracy records
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends during peak seasons
- Pass criminal background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
