Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stage merchandise for shipping and receiving operations.
- Conduct regular quality checks on inventory and ensure accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Perform routine safety inspections of equipment before and after each shift.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all company policies regarding hazardous material handling and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
