Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders and specifications.
- Packaging: Inspect items for quality and damage, then securely package them using appropriate materials and labeling systems.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by scanning items and updating stock records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that all shipped orders meet accuracy standards and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly; comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices and warehouse management software.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the Charlotte facility.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
