Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Accurately inventory, scan, and track all incoming/outbound shipments using WMS systems
- Maintain meticulous cleanliness and organization of designated storage zones
- Conduct daily equipment pre/post-shift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with night shift team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company SOPs
- Assist with cross-functional tasks during low-volume periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 2+ years recent experience
- Proven ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in tight warehouse spaces
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (RF scanning/WMS)
- Exceptional spatial awareness and depth perception
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation for consistent night shift attendance
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Flexibility to work weekends during peak seasons
