Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all loading dock safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to organize warehouse aisles and ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid and current OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
