Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Load and Unload: Receive, verify, and load/unload shipments accurately to ensure inventory integrity.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and following OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Must be eager to learn and open to receiving on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
