Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, cherry pickers) to safely move, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Accurately document incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Load and unload freight trailers with precision and speed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proven track record of safety compliance and attention to detail.
