Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan items, maintain inventory records, and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Material Handling: Wrap, label, and prepare freight for shipping or storage while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- License: Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not mandatory).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
