Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move stock.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by following all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required for immediate hire candidates.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in data entry and order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, have a good work history, and be available for overtime as needed.
