Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers, ensuring accurate documentation and weight distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks.
- Manage inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic regulations within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners or WMS.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
