Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive and operate forklifts (including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate picking, packing, and staging of orders to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, conduct daily pre-shift inspections, and maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.
- Load & Unload Transport: Load and unload trucks and trailers using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage to products and equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including daily logs, delivery receipts, and inventory reports.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current, unexpired forklift operator license or certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work 2nd shift or night shift hours consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a positive work history.
