Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure efficient retrieval.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work a night shift schedule consistently.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and hazard prevention.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
