Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stock materials within the warehouse facility.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring cargo is secured and accounted for.
- Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
