Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning tags and verifying stock against orders.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards (OSHA compliance).
- Assist in the organization of pallets and racking systems to maximize storage efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
