Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision and speed.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment before and after shifts.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company warehouse policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse workflow and resolve bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit to lift heavy loads (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
