Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and safe to operate.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock is organized and stored according to safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless handover of inventory and operational status.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning work areas and organizing storage aisles.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory or safety checks.
