Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of shipments for distribution.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
