Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform routine safety inspections on machinery and ensure all safety protocols (OSHA standards) are strictly followed during night operations.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Stack and organize pallets safely to maximize warehouse space and prevent accidents.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety regulations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
