Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Class A, B, or C) safely and efficiently throughout the night shift.
- Load, unload, and stage pallets of merchandise with precision and speed.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Verify inventory counts against packing slips and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of inventory and operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packaging and order picking, as required.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator License (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work rotating Night Shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logging and scanning.
