Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured to prevent damage during transport to and from the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels through regular cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and daily equipment checklists.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Overtime Eligibility: Willingness and ability to work overtime when business demands it.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in all tasks.
- Drug Screen: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
