Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Scan, pick, and pack customer orders with 99.9% accuracy using handheld RF scanners.
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Conduct regular quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as required by management.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and shipment status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners or WMS preferred.
- Valid New York State driver's license (Class B or CDL is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
